Yoga

Yoga is a very effective class which integrates movement, strength and breathing, which all helps you to achieve a toned and flexible physique. A sequential routine with a variety of traditional yoga poses is performed to create a class, which integrates many of the elements of fitness to help you reach, your goals. No matter your level of ability or age you will benefit from this energizing class, which will create a strong connection between you, your mind and your body. Peak Yoga is a must if you want to improve your balance, flexibility, power, stamina and tone. Reduce your stress and include Peak Yoga in your scheduled classes.

Barre Pilates

Barre Pilates uses a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like Yoga and Pilates. The Barre is used as a prop to balance whilst doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training, which means holding your body and at the same time contracting a specific set of muscles. We combine small range-of-motion targeted movements with high reps to achieve the desired result. The class will incorporate light handheld weights and pilates balls to increase ‘the burn,’ and mats for targeted core work. The small controlled movements in a Barre class will reduce pressure on your joints, tendons, ligaments and spine while improving your core strength and posture. Barre will give you the benefits of a ‘Peak Mat Pilates Class’, and more. After each class your entire body will truly feel WORKED!! You’ll feel stretched, strengthened and invigorated.

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is a physical conditioning program emphasising flexibility, inner core stability and strength. lt creates a long, lean, toned and shaped physique. Pilates unites the body and mind and practiced faithfully will alleviate chronic pain, rehabilitate existing conditions and avoid future injuries. Pilates has numerous positive effects on the body such as strengthening the abdomen and back, increasing bone density, improving joint stability and postural alignment, will also increase lung capacity and circulation. A variety of transportable equipment such as resistance bands, rollers, exercise balls, weighted belts, ankle weights and magic circles are used to increase intensity and create variety in the class. Pilates teaches balance and control of the body which will spill over into every area of your life. This is a program for everyone from those rehabilitating from injury through to an athlete who wants to gain a competitive advantage.

Cardio Circuit

Cardio Circuit Involves high intensity movement to make you more explosive, fit and to develop your inner athlete. All fitness levels are welcome as these workouts can be customised for everyone. Your body will become more functional and you will redefine what you thought was possible. Barbells, Dumbbells, Box Jumps, Kettlebells and much more will be your tools for this sculpting process.

Physique

Peak Physique has been designed to give you a full body workout out from the circuit/HIIT formate. This style of training has been found to give you amazing results in not only toning/stengthening your body but also building your fitness as well. You’ll be on a exercises for intervals and will keeping moving to different ones to keep things new and your body guessing. The different between Cardio Circuit and Physique is that this session focuses more on weights within the circuit.

Strength

Peak Strength is a unique workout born out of the need to give a quality resistance workout in a safe, controlled environment where the class can be adapted to the individuals needs and goals. ln the Strength class you will be focusing on a specific area of the body each time using a large variety of equipment including free weights, machines, exercise balls, kettle bells, medicine balls, suspension straps and resistance bands. The instructor will take you through a varied program of weight based exercises depending on the needs of the individuals within the class and the desired outcomes to be achieved. The benefits include an increase in strength, tone and reshaping of the body, along with rehabilitation of injuries and body weaknesses, improvement in joint mobility and flexibility. You will also be increasing lean muscle tissue, which in turn results in a decrease in your body fat levels.

Cycling

Peak Spin is a high energy 30 minute class taught in intervals by inspiring experience instructors using great music mixes that will keep you motivated and wanting more. In this fun effective class you can burn more fat in 30 minutes than you could in most other forms of aerobic training, while still gaining strength and toning the body. This is a class for beginners right through to the advanced cyclist. Compete against yourself – go at your own pace – you are in control. Indoor Cycling will build endurance, fitness and create a strong, shaped and toned physique. You will finish the class feeling invigorated, de’stressed and full of vitality.

Boxing

Boxing is a great way to get a cardiovascular workout, improve your strength, coordination and get into great shape! Boxing training involves leaning and practicing different movements and skills as well as working on your strength and fitness. Boxing is suitable for any levels of fitness and expertise; the instructor will modify the workout to cater to everyone. Peak Boxing will build stamina/fitness and tone/shape your body. As well as helping to develop your physical fitness, boxing will also increase your self-confidence and body awareness. It is a great way to get an all over body workout while having fun at the same time.
